Bay Farm self catering holiday cottages were built on the site of the old Bay Farm steading in 2001. In quiet, rural surroundings they are situated just above the shore of Munlochy Bay SSSI, in the sheltered south east area of Scotland's Black Isle.

Roebuck Cottage and Swallow Cottage are furnished and equipped to a very high standard, each cottage sleeps four people in one double and one twin bedroom. Both cottages offer good disabled access.

The cottages are south facing, with lovely sea views across the Bay to the forested hills and farmlands on the south shore, with the mountains of Strathconon in the distance. The photograph at the head of the page shows the view from the patio area in front of the cottages.

As well as being an ideal base for touring the beauty spots and attractions of the Black Isle, or the grandeur and wildness of the Northern Highlands, there are many excellent walks in the immediate local area which is rich in bird, animal and plant life. You can explore the west coast, or simply relax and enjoy the beauty and tranquillity that gives Bay Farm its unique character.

The nearest shops are in the charming fishing village of Avoch, which lies on the Moray Firth itself. With its narrow side streets of tightly packed fishermen's cottages and attractive harbour it is well worth a visit.

Fortrose is a couple of miles further east along the coast, and has a wider range of shops and services.
