Purpose built for use as holiday cottages, Bay Farm Cottages were designed to offer good disabled access. The cottages are built to comply with modern standards and regulations and are wheelchair-friendly both inside and out.

Car parking is right beside the cottages and a level, stone flagged path leads to the front door of each cottage. There are no steps to the front door, or on the ground floor inside the cottages. There is one LOW step from the patio doors down onto the patio,but the stone flagged path goes completely around the cottages, giving level access onto the patio if needed.

All sleeping and most of the living accommodation is on the ground floor. The doorways are 33 inches / 86 cm wide, and there is plenty of room to move around the beds in both bedrooms.

The bathrooms are well laid out, and we have fitted a strong handrail to the wall above the bath. We also provide a bath seat to make it easier to use the shower or bath and a sturdy frame can be fitted around the WC. Please request these extra aids for disabled people when you book.
